Bountiful has been a well-established community longer than most cities on the Wasatch Front. The bench neighborhoods above the valley have had their character for decades, and a lot of the roughly 6,300 Medicare residents here have been in those houses for a long time. Lakeview Hospital sits inside the city, the views of the Salt Lake Valley are part of daily life, and the community has a settled quality that newer suburbs are still working toward.
