Life is too short

To be irritated and confused. Yet, Medicare can get confusing fast. There are enrollment deadlines, plan types, drug coverage questions, provider networks, and too much information that is either too vague or too hard to follow. Resting Sycamore Advisors was built to make that process easier.

We help people understand Medicare, compare their options, and enroll with confidence. The goal is simple. Clear guidance. No pressure. Help that actually makes sense.

Why I Do This

Before starting Resting Sycamore Advisors, I was a Master Black Belt at Kaiser Permanente, where I led projects focused on improving the patient and client experience.

I saw firsthand how something that seems small, like not getting a medical card on time or having a name misspelled, can create real problems. Those problems can affect care, create confusion, and lead to financial stress at the exact moment someone needs things to work smoothly.

Then my mom fell

What I had seen professionally, I started to feel personally. Healthcare decisions stopped being abstract. They became real, immediate, and emotional. I saw how hard it can be for individuals and families to navigate important choices when they are already under stress.

That experience shaped how I do this work today. I believe people deserve clear explanations, careful guidance, and help from someone who understands that these decisions affect real lives.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

I have not always been an insurance agent. Much of my background was in business, technology, AI, and blockchain, where clear thinking, problem solving, and making complex things understandable mattered every day.

That background still shapes how I work now.

I tend to look at Medicare the same way I looked at other high-stakes decisions in business. What are the real options? What actually matters? Where do people get tripped up? And how do we make a good decision without adding confusion?

So when we talk, the goal is not to overwhelm you with jargon or rush you into a choice. It is to help you understand your options clearly and make a decision that fits your situation.

That usually means looking at things like:

your doctors
your prescriptions
your preferred hospitals and provider networks
your budget
your travel or lifestyle needs
whether you want more flexibility or more predictable costs

I've got your back

Some people want a simple explanation of how Medicare works. Some are ready to compare plans right away. Some need help figuring out whether they should keep what they have or make a change. All of that is okay.

You do not need to show up knowing the right questions. My job is to help you think it through clearly, without pressure.
