West Valley City is the second-largest city in Utah, and it's been that way long enough that it shouldn't surprise anyone anymore. The city has real working-class roots, one of the most genuinely diverse populations in the state, and neighborhoods that have been here long enough to have their own character. For the roughly 18,200 Medicare residents here, the location inside Salt Lake County is a practical advantage. But West Valley City is also building its own healthcare presence in ways that matter to seniors who'd rather not drive across the valley.
